Construction Progress is Evident at ‘Topping Out’ Celebration

The ceremonial last beam was placed into position at a “Topping Out” Ceremony held on November 5 at Enrique S. Camarena Elementary School in the Chula Vista Elementary School District. The ceremony refers to the overall completion of building structures, commemorating a major milestone in the construction of a project. Construction is proceeding ahead of schedule at Camarena. Prior to the last beam being hoisted into position by a crane, it was painted white and signed by all of the persons involved with the project. Camarena School is scheduled to open its doors to students in July 2013.
